Born and raised in Shelby County, Texas, Trey Wilson has always been deeply connected to the people and places that shaped him. From the small-town churches and familiar backroads to the faces he’s known his whole life, this community has always been home. Over the years, Trey has seen firsthand how many good men—friends, fathers, sons, and neighbors—struggle quietly under the weight of life’s pressures. He’s also walked that road himself, facing the kind of battles that too often stay hidden behind a strong front.
Those experiences didn’t just leave a mark—they changed his heart. They gave him a deeper understanding of what it means to hurt, to heal, and to find strength in honesty and hope. Out of that place came a desire to do something that mattered, something that could make a difference right here in the community that raised him.
Trey’s vision for The Lone Cedar Foundation was born out of that same soil—a mission to support men who are struggling with mental health, addiction, or simply the weight of everyday life. He believes that true strength isn’t found in silence or isolation, but in brotherhood, understanding, and the courage to take the first step toward help.
Today, Trey continues to pour his heart into that mission. Whether through conversation, community partnerships, or simply showing up for someone who needs it, his goal is to remind people that help is within reach and hope is never out of sight. His heart for others runs deep, and his commitment to this community is rooted in the belief that together, we can build a place where no one has to fight their battles alone.
